Hennepin County Library hosts showing of “Vincent Who?”

Hennepin County Library is holding an April 3 screening of “Vincent Who? “ at HCL-Ridgedale. Through the month of May, they are featuring the Spice & Slice of Asia series in celebration of Asian American Heritage Month.

Vincent Chin was murdered in Detroit in 1982. His killers received a fine of $3,000 and never served a day in jail. This light sentence galvanized Asian Americans around the country. The producer of the documentary will be on hand to address how the case has shaped and changed the Asian Pacific American community.
