“CLUES will be hosting for the community at CLUES to promote book, reading, and literacy skills within the diverse communities. They will be giving away free books in 5 languages (English, Spanish, Oromo, Hmong, and Somali) and will be offering book read alouds, a quiet reading area, and interactive literacy activities for all participants. They are partnering with TPT, the public libraries, the Children’s Museum, the Science Museum, and the Mexican Consulate to offer resources for parents and activities for the children. All of the activities are free and open to all, however please note that families should call us ahead of time to reserve their free books.”

“Celebrating 30 years
SeAM has been assisting thousands of others in refugee resettlement and community outreach for 30 years. The celebration of this ministry will be held on theApril 30, with the fundraising goal set at $30,000. Money raised will support SeAM’s ongoing ministry including the parish nurse program, Christmas friendship program, Capitol Hill English School, refugee employment services, elder programs, quilt distribution, and the Hmong handwork consignment shop, Pan Dau.

Celebrate the unifying power of Tai Chi and Qigong for achieving bether health and better world at the same time as thousands of other people in 60 countries around the world. This year marks the thirteen aniversary of this exciting global event, and will feature Tai Chi experts Dr. Russell Smiley and Spring Forest Qigong Master, Chunyi Lin.

Led by Pan Asian Arts Alliance, local Asian performing arts groups have come together to host first ever – Pan Asian Arts Festival, a month-long celebration of the May Pan Asian Heritage Month. The festival is our kickoff event and is a fun family event with many dance and music performances, storytelling and booths. We hope to see you there. The event will include many Asian performers from the metro area.
