You are invited to the 2nd Annual “Speak Up, Speak Out, Speak Now “ Youth & Civic Engagement Conference. The Asian Pacific Youth Council (APYC) is calling all youth to come attend this conference on civic engagement to speak on the issues that are important to you. This conference will teach you how to lead and directly engage in the political process.

When: Saturday, February 16th, 2013
Time: 10:30am to 2:30pm

*Parking is available at parking ramp behind Centennial Building in the Orange Lot

10:30 Arrival and Registration
10:45 Welcome (Room G-15) by Representative Carlos Mariani (District 65B)
11:15 Youth Led Breakout Session on topics;
Achievement Gap
Higher Education
Human Rights
Human Trafficking
12:30 Lunch and delivering letters (lunch is provided)
1:30  Group Reconvene
2:00 Closing
