APIA U Leadership Training

The University of Minnesota’s Asian American Studies Program along with the Organization for Chinese American (OCA) National Center invites you to register for the APIA U Leadership Training 101. Leadership 101 provides Asian/Pacific Islander American (APIA) student leaders and activists a unique training that focuses on development of leadership and organizational skills that are relevant to APIA campuses and communities.

The training involves hands-on exercises, small group discussions, and presentations led by two qualified APIA facilitators. The one day training focuses on self-awareness, team-building, and direct action organizing. Participants will be asked to challenge themselves, share their experiences, and develop leadership tools in order to effectively serve as catalysts for change.
