Lead Poisoning Prevention and Healthy Home Project
- On March 5, 2012, the Minneapolis Department of Health and Family Supportwill issue a Request for Proposals that identifies community partners to provide community education/outreach, in-home visits, and referral services for the Lead Poisoning Prevention and Healthy Homes Project.
- Part-time consultant to coordinate the work of Homegrown Minneapolis (HGM) to improve the local food environment, both as an economic development tool and a means to improve access to healthy foods for city residents. This position will coordinate the implementation of HGM recommendations/projects in partnership with other city departments, community-based organizations and other stakeholders, and will staff the Minneapolis Food Council. This position will identify funding opportunities and participate in writing grant proposals to fund HGM projects. Services are to be provided between April 1 and December 31, 2012 at a cost not to exceed $50,000.
